Turtle Sanctuary
In the vast expanse of our oceans and rivers, there exist more than 300 species of turtles. Among them, seven species are specifically adapted to life in the sea, known as Sea Turtles. Unfortunately, some of these Sea Turtle species are critically endangered. These majestic creatures face numerous threats in their habitats.
Otters
Our dedicated team of carers has invested countless hours in providing enriching experiences for these otters. Through this careful enrichment, they have developed remarkable abilities and are capable of tackling complex tasks. Coral Reef Inhabitants
When corals encounter stress caused by pollution, temperature fluctuations, or changes in acidity levels, they undergo a process known as coral bleaching. During this phenomenon, corals expel the algae residing in their shells. The algae provide the corals with vibrant colors, and without them, the corals appear white.
Rainforest

Fairy Penguin Island
In 2018, we welcomed a delightful colony of Fairy Penguins (Eudyptula minor) to our SEA LIFE center. These charming penguins found a new home with us when their sanctuary in Manly, Australia, unfortunately had to close. We are incredibly privileged to be the exclusive home to these Fairy Penguins in all of Europe.


Seal Harbour
Commonly referred to as harbour seals, these remarkable creatures are often found in sandflats and estuaries, where they display their distinct behaviors and characteristics. The UK’s largest colony of common seals can be found in The Wash of East Anglia, serving as a vital habitat for these fascinating marine mammals
Rockpool
Rockpools, formed by the water that remains when the tide recedes, create unique and dynamic habitats. These shallow pools become homes to a plethora of diverse creatures. In order to survive in such an environment, these inhabitants must possess remarkable resilience and adaptability.

Join forces with Tyler the Turtle and become a SEA LIFE Ranger, entrusted with the vital mission of locating and safeguarding turtle eggs.
Castaway Bay Splash Zone and Pool
Indulge in hours of endless fun at the Splash Zone and Pool of Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park. Dive into a world of excitement as you splash around in the water play jets, enjoying the exhilarating sensation of water cascading all around you.


Wetlands
Our Wetlands Conservation Trail was thoughtfully crafted to foster the presence of indigenous wildlife species within our Park. We owe much of its success to the valuable assistance of the Dorset Wildlife Trust and Martin Young from “Nectar Plants,” who generously shared their expertise, advice, and even provided us with various plants.
