The Explorer’s Cafe At Tropical World

The Tropical World Cafe is open every day from 10 am to 5 pm. Hot food is available until 4 pm. Our menu caters to all tastes, offering morning snacks until midday, such as breakfast sandwiches, Danish pastries, croissants, bagels, and toasted snacks. Throughout the day, we serve a variety of dishes, including cold sandwiches, salads, and mouthwatering hot snacks like soup, jacket potatoes, toasted sandwiches, and paninis.

Adjacent to the skatepark at Roundhay Park, there’s a fantastic children’s play area that promises loads of excitement for the little ones. And for the parents, there are plenty of convenient seats nearby to relax and keep an eye on their kids.

Revamping Roundhay Skatepark: A Joint Effort for Community and Visitors. Skateboarders, BMX’ers, rollerbladers, rollerskaters, and caring parents unite to uplift Roundhay skatepark. Their mission: transform the rundown facility into a vibrant space catering not just to the locals but also to the park’s 1.2 million yearly visitors.

Land Train

The Lakeside Cafe

The Lakeside Cafe is now fully open and ready to serve you! Enjoy a delicious breakfast from 10am to 12pm on weekdays, and 9:30am to 12pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note that during peak times, including bank holidays and school holidays, last orders for breakfast are at 11:30am, and lunch orders will commence at 12pm.


Roundhay Park Golf Course

Nestled within the scenic Roundhay Park Estate, the Roundhay Park Golf Course presents a timeless nine-hole experience. Set amidst mature wooded parkland, this classic course spans 5,322 yards and offers a par 70, providing golfers with a rewarding and enjoyable challenge.


Fishing

Anglers are welcome to indulge in fishing activities on Waterloo Lake at Roundhay Park, except within the designated boating area. The boating area encompasses the front section of the lake, extending up to the maintained grass area and the point where the path diverges from the lake’s side on the opposite bank.
