How can we secure great savings?
Book your tickets online in advance to secure your preferred date and save money.
How do we get to the zoo?
The zoo is 1 mile from Paignton town centre on the A3022 Totnes Road. Follow the brown tourist signs with the elephant symbol. Postcode: TQ4 7EU, next to Morrisons.
Where can we park?
We offer free on-site parking for 1,110 cars, with additional overflow parking nearby, available on a first come, first served basis.
Can I hire a wheelchair, mobility scooter or stroller?
Manual wheelchairs are free with a £20 refundable deposit.

Electric scooters cost £20 plus £20 deposit and must be booked in advance by calling 01803 697500.

Strollers are available (£12 double / £8 single).
Can I bring a group to the zoo?
Group bookings are available. Please call 01803 697500 to enquire and book.
Do Blue Peter badge holders get free admission?
Free entry is not currently available for Blue Peter badge holders.
Are dogs allowed in the zoo?
Dogs are not permitted, except registered assistance dogs.

Dogs are welcome at Primley Park nature reserve, open 24/7.
Can I bring my bike into the zoo?
Bikes, scooters and skateboards are not allowed inside the zoo.

A free bike rack is available at the main entrance.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Only on-site food and drink is permitted, except baby formula.
Do you take credit or debit cards?
We accept all major debit and credit cards, excluding American Express, with no additional charges.
Do you have baby changing facilities?
Baby changing facilities are available throughout the zoo, including accessible toilets and the Island Restaurant.
Can I smoke at the zoo?
Smoking and vaping are not allowed in queues, food outlets or picnic areas. Please follow on-site signage.
Can we feed or hold the animals?
For animal welfare reasons, most animals cannot be handled.

Animal experiences are available for species such as giraffes, rhinos and giant tortoises.
