Do you have ATM machines?
No we don’t, but we can usually give you ‘cash back’ up to £50 with a card transaction.
Do you offer a family ticket?
We do not have family tickets, as all age groups are individually priced. For even greater value visits, 5 visit passes can be purchased for those wishing to visit at least 5 times in a year. These passes offer a 25% discount.
Can I bring a picnic?
Our ‘Picnic Patch’ on the farm park is a perfect outdoors setting to enjoy your picnic, plus there are many undercover barns around the farm that can be used to take cover from the sun or any rain showers!
What happens if it rains?
There’s a huge amount of undercover area including our 2 large indoor playbarns, young drivers area, ‘Little Hoppington’ Small Animal Village and our fantastic BIG Animal Barn. Come rain or shine, whatever time of year, there’s always lots to do and see!
Can I drop my children off and pick them up later?
All children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (18 years +)
Are there places to wash our hands?
At Bocketts Farm we’ve got plenty of hand wash stations, each with warm water, antibacterial soap and hand towel. Around the farm you will find hand washing facilities available near each animal contact area, and plenty of basins by the toilets too. Please supervise the washing of your children’s hands immediately after leaving an animal contact area, before eating and drinking and after touching footwear. Please note that sanitising hand gels do not provide adequate protection alone. They are not a substitute for thorough hand washing but can be of value if used as an additional measure.
Is there anything I need to know if I am pregnant?
Pregnant women should avoid contact with newborn lambs and goat kids, and like all other visitors, ensure that they wash their hands frequently with warm water and antibacterial soap. If you have any queries, please ask a member of staff.
What is your smoking policy?
Smoking is only permitted at Bocketts Farm in our designated smoking area which is marked on our map.
Do you have First Aiders?
We have a first aid room and qualified first aiders on site at all times. Please notify a member of staff if you require any assistance.
Are dogs allowed into the farm?
Unfortunately we cannot allow dogs into the farm park. If you wish to make use of the tearooms however, dogs are allowed into the outdoor area by the tearooms, providing they are supervised – where tubs of water can be provided. Please do not leave dogs in your car under any circumstances
