FAQ Dropdown with Arrows
Do you offer family tickets?
No, we don’t currently offer family-style ticket bundles. Every person must purchase their own ticket. But children under 90cm tall can enter our Zooquarium for free, as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult.
Do babies go for free?
Any children under the height of 90cm will be permitted to enter Sealife Adventure free of charge, providing there is a paying adult present to accompany them. Children will be measured upon entry. Children must be wearing shoes whilst being height checked, as we require all guests to be wearing shoes when entering our centre.
Can I visit and come back later in the day?
Yes. You will be issued with an entry wristband when you arrive, and as long as this wristband is not removed or tampered with, it will be valid for the duration of the calendar day.
Is there anywhere to eat?
Absolutely – we would never leave you high and dry! You can learn more about our food and drink facilities here. Whether you fancy a hot drink, a tasty snack, or a more substantial feed, you’re spoilt for choice at our variety of restaurants and outlets. Group Grub offers are also available for larger parties on group visits and school trips.
Is sealife adventure accessible to people with disabilities?
At Sealife Adventure, we believe that everyone should be able to experience the highest level of happiness with us and so we have tried to accommodate to all of our disabled visitors as much as possible.

We offer a half-price admissions fee for up to two carers for those who require assistance. The individual who requires the assistance will be charged at the full admission rate.

Please note, carers must be over 18 years to accompany somebody within the grounds and one of the following pieces of documentation will be required to obtain a carers band.

Letter from DWP regarding DLA or PIP
Diagnosis letter from NHS or doctor
Disability ID (DID) card
NIMBUS Access Card

For those with Annual Passes, we also offer carer Annual Passes, which are half the price of the standard Annual Pass. With this you are also able to purchase up to two carers annual passes.
Is there parking onsite?
No, but there are plenty of car parks and street parking bays within close walking distance of Sealife Adventure, including those that are located a little closer to Southend town centre. You will need to pay a small fee. We would recommend downloading the MOBON app when parking at one of Southend Council’s car parks, as it will save you time and hassle on the day.
I’ve lost something during my visit – what do I do?
Firstly, don’t panic! There’s every chance that your item has been picked up by a member of our team and handed in to our Customer Services department. We’ll keep any lost belongings in a secure location for up to 4 weeks, and we’ll make every effort to ensure any lost property is reunited with its owner ASAP.
Why do children under 90cm go for free?
The majority of our tanks are visible from 80cm+. Children 90cm and above can easily view all exhibits.
