Welsh Mountain Zoo

Welsh Mountain Zoo, located in Colwyn Bay, is home to a diverse range of animals, including snow leopards, red pandas, Sumatran tigers, and sea lions. The zoo is committed to conservation, participating in breeding programmes for endangered species to help maintain genetic diversity.

Visitors can support the zoo through animal adoption, which helps fund the care of its residents. The zoo also runs various conservation projects, both locally and globally, working to protect habitats and species in the wild.

For an unforgettable experience, the Keeper for a Day programme allows guests to go behind the scenes, assisting with feeding and caring for the animals.

To enhance the visit, an interactive 360-degree zoo map provides a virtual tour of enclosures and key areas, helping guests plan their route. With breathtaking views over Colwyn Bay, the Welsh Mountain Zoo is a must-visit for animal lovers and conservation enthusiasts alike.
